Sports Program: Abu Dhabi Combat Club – Jiu Jitsu 2023

BALI, November 11, 2023 – We are thrilled to share with you the exceptional success of our university’s representatives at the recent ADCC grappling tournament held in Bali. Our two outstanding fighters, Alif Fathaillah in the -60 KG category and Ahmed Becovic in the -91 KG category, showcased remarkable skills and determination throughout the competition.

Together, Alif and Ahmed participated in a total of 7 fights, with Ahmed engaging in 5 and Alif in 2. Alhamdulillah, to report that our club achieved a flawless record with 7 fights and 7 finishes, truly demonstrating the caliber of our athletes

In a remarkable display of talent and prowess, Ahmed secured three gold medals – two in his weight category and one in the absolute division. Additionally, he earned the prestigious trophy for the absolute winner, a testament to his outstanding performance against champions from all categories.

Not to be outdone, Alif Fathahillah claimed a well-deserved gold medal in the -60 KG division for beginners. Alhamdulillahments underscore not only the individual excellence of our athletes but also the strength of our university’s commitment to fostering teamwork and rigorous training.
