Students Community Engagement and Social Studies Experiential Learning in Collaboration with PELITAWANIS TNB Port Dickson

On 2, 3 & 4 September 2023, a total of 19 students from Year 2, Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, and 3 Lecturer from the School of Education and Human Sciences (SEHS) was successfully done a project on Turtle Awareness and Conservation Programs at Glory Beach Resort Turtle Hatchery Centre. During the event, the students helped to clean the beach with community, cleaning the turtle pond, feeding the turtles and release the baby turtles to the sea.

On the third day of the event, students also had an opportunity to have a teaching and learning session about Community Helper with children and a firefighter demonstration at Taska Aleesa Sofea, Port Dickson.
