Hult Prize On-Campus
23 October 2020 | In preparation for participating in the Hult Prize On-Campus, today, a team of participants was trained by Miss Baitulhusna Ahmad Zamri on how to pitch their social business ideas. Miss Baitulhusna is well-experienced in business pitching, especially in the social business area at national and international level. She is also the CEO of Nazkids, an accredited Social Enterprise Company in Jitra, Kedah. Nazkids provides job opportunities to local young women (B40 and below group) through sewing and entrepreneurship.This session was also organized to broaden the horizon of the students on helping to tackle one of the world’s most pressing issues, and how they can transform food from a necessity of survival into a means of change for prosperity and humanity (Hult Prize Challenge Theme for 2021).Also present were the Dean of School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suraya Hanim Mokhtar and members of academic staff, SBSS.
