Courtesy Visit By The Royal Thai Consulate-General

4 August 2020 | the University warmly welcomed a Courtesy Visit by the Royal Thai Consulate-General. The delegation from the Royal Thai Consulate-General led by Mr. Raschada Jiwalai, Consul-General of Thailand in Penang.

The Courtesy Visit, among others discussed potential collaboration and cooperative effort between both institutions in providing access and opportunities to education for those in need.
After a tour around the AIU Campus, the AIU team led by the Vice Chancellor and President, YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abd. Aziz Tajuddin and the Royal Thai Consulate-General team convened in a meeting together with Thailand’s students from AIU.

Also present from AIU were YBhg. Prof. Ir. Dr. Rizalafande Che Ismail, Deputy Vice Chancellor, YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd Hafiz Yusoff, Registrar, YBhg. Dato’ Siti Zubaidah A. Hamid, Director Student Affairs, Mr. Abdul Shakur Abdullah, Deputy Registrar and Miss Siti Nur Aqilah Muhammad Anwar, Executive Scholarship.
