Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) III

The ASIA WORLD MODEL UNITED NATIONS (AWMUN) III, South Jakarta held from 13 to 16 November 2019 in Bali, Republic of Indonesia.

One of AIU student, Ms. Alua Aimagambetova from Kazakhstan representing the University in this third Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN). Her selection is based on, among others, academic achievements, extra- and co-curricular activities, previous participation and responses to a series of questions.

AWMUN III 2019 carries the theme of The Implementation of World’s Agenda 2030, which aims to facilitate young leaders from different places to broaden their networks and to provide a platform to share their perspectives, particularly on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that will be discussed in each council.

We always knew there was something within you. Awarded as Best Delegate of United Nation Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is not something which happens every day. You have made all of us very proud. Congratulations and well done on the victory. You are destined to make it big. This recognition is surely deserved and will give you an opportunity to spread your wings. We are so proud of you. Fly high, Alua!
